FO: Mom’s Christmas ‘Rainy Day Socks’

I was a tad late in finishing both mom’s and DH’s Christmas socks. It’s hard to practice knitting subterfuge when living with the one(s) from whom you are trying to keep the gift a secret. I could only knit mom’s when she wasn’t around, and hubby’s when HE wasn’t around, thus what should have taken [...]

My First Irish Hiking Scarf

Here’s my first IHS! It was so much fun, and completed in one week. It’s rather long, but you can’t tell that by the short stature of my model (Cricket) ;o) I made it in Caron Simply Soft. I love the silky texture and shimmery look of it.

All you fellow thrifty knitters out there are going to love this! It’s a reusable Swiffer cover! Can you beat that?!? I don’t use my Swiffer much, I’ve been thinking it might be because I hate to shell out good money for those refills! LOL! I admit it, I’m thrifty to the bone!
Here’s the link [...]
